About One Young World Leaders Summit
One Young World is a dynamic global community dedicated to nurturing young leaders who actively address and solve some of the world’s most pressing challenges. The annual summit unites young leaders from over 196 countries in Cape Town, South Africa, from November 3rd to 6th, providing a platform to connect, share insights, and receive mentorship from renowned political, business, and humanitarian figures.
These young leaders return to their communities as One Young World Ambassadors, armed with connections, insights, and motivation to amplify their social impact within a global network of 17,000+ young leaders.

Selection Criteria
Participants will be selected based on their proven positive social impact in tackling global challenges such as climate change, poverty, gender equality, and public health.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be aged between 18 and 35 at the time of the One Young World Summit 2026.
- Candidates from all countries are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
- Demonstrated interest in promoting East-West exchanges.
- Have a proven track record of leadership.
- Have an evidenced commitment to delivering change.
- Must be addressing key local and/or global issues in their work.
