About LASU

The Lagos State University (LASU), located in Ojo, was established as a public university in 1983 by a Lagos State enabling law. The LASU Jamb cut-off mark for the 2021/2022 academic session is 190, so in order to register for the Lagos State University POST UTME, a student must score at least 190 in the recently concluded JAMB examination.

How To Apply For Admission To Study In LASU

LASU Undergraduate Admission Requirements

Aspiring candidates should visit https://lasu.edu.ng/epay_paytech/ to pay a non-refundable application fee of Ten Thousand Naira [N10,000:00] only, to access the application form. Candidates are required to fill out the application form upload their credentials and submit the form online.

• A minimum of 5 credits in the Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (SSCE/GCE) Ordinary Level Credits in a maximum of 2 sittings.
• You must select the right JAMB subject combination for your course.

LASU Requirements For Direct Entry (DE)

Below are the requirements for candidates that wish to gain admission into Lagos State University through Direct Entry:

• A minimum of 5 credits in the Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (SSCE/GCE) Ordinary Level Credits in a max of 2 sittings.
• Degree (First Class/Second Class Upper) in related fields for your course of choice.
• Direct entry candidates are to purchase the LASU Direct Entry form through the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) And LASU Portal.
• A minimum of Merit Pass in the National Certificate of Education (NCE), National Diploma (ND), and other Advanced Level Certificates.

Lagos State University Post Graduate Admission Requirements

The Postgraduate School invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into their postgraduate programs at the Lagos State University (LASU). 

Application Procedure

• Open the Post-Graduate Application Portal
• Click on STEP 1 and Generate Your Application Number
• Note that you can generate your application number only once. Make sure you print out the application number generation page in number (2) above.
• Click on STEP 2 and Pay Your Application Fee at www.lasu.edu.ng/epayment/
• At the Payment portal on Number (4) above, the Postgraduate Programme that you wish to pay for
• Follow the step-by-step instructions to generate your transaction ID or RRR.
• Pay your application fee with your generated Transaction ID.
• Go back to the Online Postgraduate Application Portal
• Now go to STEP 3: Enter your ‘Application Number‘ and ‘Surname’ in the fields provided and click on the ‘Submit’ button.
• Follow the step-by-step instructions and then complete your application.
• Print out your application form.
• You can also re-print your application form as many times as you want.

Once you meet LASU’s eligibility requirements, you can register for LASU post UTME. Here’s how to register for Lagos State University 2022/2023 Post UTME:

• Go to LASU Screening Portal via https://lasu.edu.ng/.
• Get the LASU Post UTME Form Via LASU Undergraduate Portal.
• Click on the Post UTME form publication therein.
• Follow the instructions provided on the portal to successfully buy and register for the LASU Post UTME screening exercise.
• Print out your POST UTME Registration slip afterward.
• Lastly, wait for the LASU Screening date to be announced and the admission list.

Qualified Candidates should visit www.screening.lasu.edu.ng and select the “Make Payment” option in the drop-down list at the top to make the required non-refundable payment of Two Thousand Naira (2,000) Screening Fee for the Screening Exercise.
