What Is EKSU Cut off Mark For the 2025/2026 Academic Session?
EKSU admission cut off mark for the 2025/2026 academic session is 140 and above. This means that to be eligible for EKSU Post UTME screening and admission, you must score exactly 140 or above in your UTME.
EKSU admission quota is divided into three (3) broad categories:
- Merit Cut off Mark 2025 – 45%
- Catchment Area Cut off Mark 2025 – 35%
- Educationally Less Developed States (ELDS) Cut off Mark – 20%
Aside from meeting the school’s admission cut-off mark for 2025/2026, you must also fulfill other admissions requirements such as having at least 5 credits in your O’Level results, including Mathematics and English. All eligible candidates must participate in the EKSU’s Post-UTME screening exercise.

Does EKSU Conduct Post UTME?
Ekiti State University conducts Post UTME. The Post UTME Screening Process is designed to evaluate the academic preparedness of candidates who selected the university as their first choice and met the minimum UTME score requirement of 160.
Candidates are required to complete the application online through the school’s official portal, where they will upload the necessary documents and pay the application fee of N2,000. The screening process involves a Computer-Based Test (CBT) in subjects related to the candidate’s chosen course.
For the screening, candidates should bring a printed Post UTME acknowledgment slip, a valid ID, a passport-sized photograph, a UTME result slip, and O’level results. The Post UTME screening results will be released within two weeks following the examination.

How To Apply For EKSU Post UTME In 2025
To be eligible for Ekiti State University post-utme for the 2025/2026 academic session, you must choose EKSU as your first-choice institution and must score 140 and above in JAMB to be eligible for admission.
All candidates must have the required O’level credits (WAEC, NECO, GCE) within two sittings. These grades must include mathematics and English.
All candidates who are qualified for the EKSU Post UTME form should apply using the instructions provided below:
- Navigate to the EKSU website and click on “ADMISSION” to access the online application portal.
- Sign up with your details, including an active email address and personal phone number.
- A verification email will be sent to your email address.
- Use your email address or JAMB registration number as the username, along with the password created during sign-up.
- Select “2024/2025 PUTME application”.
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number.
- For candidates who chose EKSU, their information will populate automatically.
- Candidates who did not initially choose EKSU must fill in all necessary details accurately.
- Click “PAY NOW” to complete the payment online.
- Attach a 1×1 colored passport photograph with a red background in JPEG format.
- Upload your O’Level results, which should be obtained in no more than two sittings (WAEC SSCE, NECO, NABTEB).
- Preview, confirm, and submit the completed screening form.
- Be sure to print the completed form for your records.
Endeavor to apply on time to avoid applying after the deadline.
