About Unizik

Nnamdi Azikiwe University (NAU/UNIZIK) Awka was established in 1991 as an autonomous university. It inherited seven faculties from its mother university, the defunct Anambra State University of Technology (ASUTECH). The Faculties are Education, Engineering, Law, Medicine, Management Sciences, Natural Sciences, and Social Sciences. At that time, the Faculties of Arts, Environmental Sciences, Health Sciences Technology Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Agriculture were not part of the system.

Nnamdi Azikiwe University otherwise known as Unizik has two major campuses in Anambra State. Its main campus is in Awka (the capital of Anambra State) while the other campus is located in Nnewi. There are also other campuses of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka located in Aniocha LGA, and Ayamelum LGA all in Anambra State.

UNIZIK has a total of 14 faculties and 57 departments.

How To Apply For Unizik Post UTME 2023

Here’s a step by step guide on how to apply for Nnamdi Azikwe University’s 2022 Post UTME exercise:

• Visit portal.unizik.edu.ng
• Click on “Create Account”
• Enter your UTME Registration Number and valid email address and click “Send”. A verification code will be sent to your email instantly
• Copy the verification code and click on “Continue”
• On the form, enter your phone number, password, and verification code (copied from email), select the access level, and click “Submit”
• Your login details will be sent to your email address instantly
• Continue with the application by logging in with the login credentials sent to your email
• After successful login, click on “Step One”, and click on “Generate Application Form RRR”
• Print the RRR (Remita) page, and proceed to any bank of your choice nationwide to purchase the form.
• Login to the portal, click “Step Two”, click on “Confirm payment”, enter the RRR number, and click on “Verify payment”. If payment confirmation is successful, or if you get a notification “Payment already verified”, then proceed to “Step Three”
• Click on “Step Three”, click on “Fill Application Form”, and fill out the application form. You can save each stage of the application and continue at a later time. Also, you can edit your information as often as possible within the application period
• Carefully go through the form to confirm that there are no mistakes.
• Check the “I Agree” box and click on the “Submit” button
• Print out the Application form and come along with it for your screening and Post-UTME/DE examination

UNIZIK’s Post UTME Admission/Screening Requirements

To be eligible to apply for NAU Post-UTME, you need to meet the following eligibility requirements:

• All UTME candidates who scored 160 and above in the just concluded 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (JAMB-UTME).
• All Direct Entry Candidates who made UNIZIK their first choice
• You Must be 16 years old
• You must have at least an O’level Credit pass in 5 different subjects (Including English language and mathematics). In this case, the O’level result could be WAEC/NECO/GCE/NABTEB or any equivalent.
• Your O’level result must not be more than two sittings
