The first is the Academic Merit Bursary, which provides partial coverage of tuition fees for students with outstanding academic results. The second is the Academic Merit with Financial Need Bursary, which offers more comprehensive support. Depending on the applicant\u2019s circumstances, this may cover not only tuition fees but also accommodation, prescribed books, meals, and other study-related expenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Candidates are expected to demonstrate strong <a href=\"https:\/\/mystudentkit.com\/blog\/can-i-get-a-job-with-low-gpa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">academic performance<\/a>, commitment to their studies, and a genuine passion for the accounting profession. Those applying for the Academic Merit with Financial Need Bursary must also provide proof of household income, such as recent payslips or a sworn affidavit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>EY partners with various SAICA-accredited institutions across South Africa for this programme. These include leading universities such as the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits), the University of Cape Town (UCT), Stellenbosch University, the University of Pretoria (UP), and the University of Johannesburg (UJ).
